B.G Shade, born in the wilds of California's San Joaquin Valley in a cabbage patch near the ourskirts of Modesto, is living proof of the free spirit of

mankind. As soon as he could walk he hitched a ride north on the back of a Harley driven by an escapee from a hippy commune in Clovis.

Traded off near Cottage Grove Oregon for 3 gallons of gasoline, he soon absconded with the gas stations socket set & made his way into the mountains

above Dorena Lake where he was adopted by a friendly mama Bear named Lucy. Years later after Lucy had gone off to the Great Garbage Dump in the

sky, BG headed back down the hills to CG to eventually find his rightful place in human society at Mom & Pop's Junkyard.

Later he met his brother Bob and since 1999 has been the drummer for The Deep Woods Band.
