I'm a Corvallis resident,
and have been living here for about 10 years
now. Been married to my lovely wife Melissa since 1982. No kids -- I'm
too much of a kid myself to try to raise one. We have two
spoiled-rotten cats to dote on instead.
I was born in Concord,
MA, right down the road from the Old North Bridge
and all that Revolutionary War stuff. Growing up around there must have
given me some of my contrary spirit. Moved to southern NH when I was 18
(got out of MA as soon as I could!), and I also lived in Colorado for
about 5 years before settling in Oregon.
I've been playing in bands
off and on since about 1974 (I was 14), and
have been in the computer industry since about 1980, so yeah, I'm an old
timer. I work as a software geek at a tech firm in Corvallis (no, not
HP).
DWB is, in all honesty,
one of the best bands, and one of the best group
of guys I've ever played with. These guys know how to kick some major
musical butt, and have given me an outlet for my creative side that
corporate employment sometimes stifles. I'm the newest member of the
band, having only been with them since June of '05, but I already find
the pulse of what we do to be right in touch with my own.
